About Me

A nurse who is currently working as an English Tutor

My name is Chiara (pronounce as Kiara). My friends call me Cha (to spare them from murdering my name).

I'm a nursing graduate who successfully and miraculously passed the Licensure Exam in 2012 but too lazy to be working in the hospital. Actually I did but I only lasted 2 months (you should've seen how my almost-emaciated figure). And since I'm nurse, I should work as one yet I realized, from the moment I started volunteering in one of the local hospital in my city, that my heart doesn't belong in this kind of service.

2013 when I worked as an ESL Teacher in my school. It was fun teaching there but I had to resign (personal reasons). Same year I started teaching English online. But my skill isn't enough so I decided to pursue Teaching Certificate Program. I want to be a legit, certified teacher.

The in-the-making Traveler

The time I started earning money, the opportunity to see the world with my own eyes opened itself. I have been to a few landmarks already and it's not enough. I'll be visiting more. You can check them out here in my blog.

It's one of my dreams, to travel the world. I have read this book (2 stars for me though and I forgot the title. Sorry.) about road trips and had this crazy thought that the idea seems good. Be on the road. Go to different places. If you lack money, work somewhere but don't stay longer than 1.5 months, repeat cycle

Sounds crazy but fun, right? Yeah, to me it is. And my good friend Sarah, who has the same dream as I have, showed me this interesting blog the fueled my desire to fulfill this dream. Being a teacher comes in handy then. :)

Just another artist and a writer if there's time

I love writing stories but never finish them. As of now, I'm writing a novel and only finished the first chapter. I hope I'd finish this once and for all.

Making origamis, accidentally, has been my hobby too. It all began when I was making Stop-Motion videos and ended up buying origami sheets for the sole purpose of making cut-outs for my video. However, I started trying one and ended up making many. I posted my origamis in my Pick account.

I'd also like for you to meet my origami teacher :)

OH!!! I also play the ukulele.

My favorite. Lighter and easier than a guitar. I don't actually own one. Just borrowing from my brother (he doesn't use it anyway so I think it's mine now?). I mostly played Paramore's Interlude songs since it's played using the uk and made my first ever ukulele composition.

Wanna listen? Go to my Soundcloud and tell me what you think.
